A mere few weeks ago, the worlds of ASOC and OpenCohesion were distant galaxies to our team, which is composed of 25 highly motivated students. This team represents the merger of two dynamic and proactive classes: the 3rd A and 4th A of IPSEOA De Gruttola, located in Ariano Irpino (AV), Italy. Our captain, Prof. Antonietta Cusano, an Economics teacher and the team's tutor, unveiled our pivotal role as "active citizens".
With the support of teachers Antonella Cardinale and Felice Cobino, she invited us to join this extraordinary adventure.
We are now entrusted with the duty of vigilantly overseeing a project fueled by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Each of us has been assigned an important role based on our individual inclinations, so, suddenly, we found ourselves donning the capes of civic responsibility, feeling a surge of excitement that could only be described as superheroic. As we delved into the digital landscapes of https://www.ascuoladiopencoesione.it/it and https://opencoesione.gov.it/, we discovered a treasure trove of projects in our territory.
We were amazed at the large number of companies that requested and obtained funds for interesting projects, their innovative ideas and above all for their impact on the local context.
In the grand theater of possibilities, we chose a project that resonated with a sense of urgency:
"DETERMINATION OF A SIGNATURE OF CIRCULATING MIRNAS WITH INNOVATIVE NANOSENSORS FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND PROGNOSIS OF LARYNGEAL CANCERS."

In the realm of health and well-being, we unveil our project's ambition: the creation of a low-cost and user-friendly salivary diagnostic kit for the early detection of laryngeal cancer. Imagine a world where diagnosis is swift, accessible, and affordable, a world where the formidable shadow of cancer can be dispelled in its early stages.
As students, we proudly carry the torch of the third Sustainable Development Goal of Agenda 2030 — a torch that symbolizes our commitment to ensure health and well-being for everyone, at all stages of life. Our project embodies the spirit of this goal, harmonizing technological advancement with the overarching vision of creating a healthier, more equitable world. In developing this diagnostic kit, *Biogem is not merely engineering a solution; it is crafting a catalyst for change. Early diagnosis is not just a medical breakthrough; it is a testament to our collective responsibility to safeguard the well-being of every individual. By providing a tool that is not only cost-effective but also easy to use, we aim to bridge gaps and democratize access to healthcare, making a tangible impact on communities around the globe.

Our journey is not just about scientific progress; it is about translating that progress into a force for good. It is about recognizing the interconnectedness of our goals, weaving the fabric of a healthier, more sustainable world. So, as we embark on this transformative mission, let us remember that each step forward in science is a stride toward a future where health and well-being are not luxuries but universal rights.
Together, let us champion innovation, embrace responsibility, and step into a future where the early diagnosis of laryngeal cancer is no longer an aspiration but a reality, a future where the torch we carry lights the way for a healthier, happier world for all.
Our curiosity knows no bounds; we yearn to uncover the fate of the diagnostic kit, the fruition of research goals, the meticulous utilization of funds, and the global impact of pharyngeal cancers.
Our journey will lead us to Biogem Scarl, where answers await, and from there, we will expand the research thanks to ASOC Friends, the collaboration of ISTAT and the Universities of our Region.
It's time to give a name to our team, which one will we choose?
In a historical moment where in Ukraine, Gaza, Afghanistan... the peoples are at war and fighting, we want to fight too, but for life, for health, so proudly named ourselves "Fight for Health."
Our emblem, an Earth with a pulsating heart, which is also our heart of superheroes, guarded by a stethoscope.
A microscope stands as a sentinel of research, the cornerstone of health protection for all inhabitants.
The stage is set, the logo unveiled, and our capes billow in anticipation. The time has come to embark on the adventure of a lifetime — "Fight for Health Team" is ready to start the adventure!
