Oggi è un’altra giornata importante per ASOC: in Bulgaria si inaugura la Lezione 1 del progetto pilota internazionale At The School of OpenCohesion!
Per l’occasione, il team ASOC è volato a Sofia per incontrare i coordinatori locali del progetto – Unità di Coordinamento Centrale presso il Consiglio dei Ministri – e i referenti dei Centri Distrettuali di Informazione sui Fondi Europei (DIPs), che in Bulgaria fungeranno da punto di riferimento territoriale e di contatto diretto con le 9 scuole partecipanti.
Sono stati così approfonditi i contenuti didattici della Lezione 1: le politiche di coesione in Europa, il monitoraggio civico, gli Open Data, le tecniche di ricerca attraverso la raccolta di dati secondari, gli esercizi in classe (Data Expedition e realizzazione dossier di ricerca).
Il team ASOC ha raccontato diverse best practices di monitoraggio civico realizzate dalle scuole italiane nelle edizioni precedenti del progetto, evidenziando ancora una volta lo straordinario valore civico del percorso ASOC per la crescita di cittadini attivi e consapevoli.
I partecipanti si sono inoltre confrontati su ulteriori tematiche correlate al progetto: i criteri di valutazione dei lavori delle scuole, gli eventi di presentazione pubblica da organizzare, il coinvolgimento e l’animazione delle comunità locali.
Successivamente, il team ASOC è stato invitato a visitare gli uffici del Centro Distrettuale di Informazione ESIF di Sofia, che conduce rilevanti attività di disseminazione e informazione sui Fondi Strutturali e di Investimento europei (SIE) rivolte a cittadini, stakeholders e istituti scolastici.
Il primo step che affronteranno le scuole sarà la scelta dei progetti da monitorare sui propri territori, utilizzando come prima fonte di informazione www.eufunds.bg, il portale web nazionale di informazione sui fondi strutturali europei. Già a partire da domani, i Centri Distrettuali di Informazione si attiveranno per trasferire le nozioni della Lezione 1 ai docenti e agli studenti delle scuole bulgare, in modo da compiere gli step previsti dalla lezione e compilare il relativo report entro la deadline stabilita, indicativamente attorno al 10 febbraio.
In bocca al lupo, dunque, ai docenti e agli studenti di ASOC Bulgaria!
At the School of OpenCohesion: Bulgarian Schools all ready for Lesson 1!
Today is another important day for the international pilot project At the School of OpenCohesion (ASOC): Lesson 1 is starting in Bulgaria!
For the occasion, the ASOC team flew to Sofia to meet the project’s Managing Authority – Central Coordination Unit at the Council of Ministers – and the representatives of the District Information Points (DIPs) on European Funds, which in Bulgaria will act as territorial reference and direct contact with the 9 participating schools.
In the meeting, the educational contents of Lesson 1 were deepened: Cohesion Policy in Europe, Civic Monitoring, Open Data, Research methods through the collection of secondary data, In-Class Exercises (Data Expedition and Research Dossier).
The ASOC team took also the chance to tell the stories related to several civic monitoring best practices implemented by Italian high-schools in the previous editions of the project, thus to highlight once again the extraordinary civic value of the ASOC educational path for the growth of active and aware citizens.
The participants also discussed about further project-related topics: the evaluation criteria for the research works to be carried out by the schools, the organization strategy of public events related to the project, the involvement and engagement of the local communities.
Afterwards, the ASOC team was invited to visit the offices of the Sofia District Information Point, which conducts relevant dissemination and information activities on ESIF aimed at citizens, stakeholders and schools.
The first step that the schools will face will be the choice of the projects to be monitored on their territories: they will go through this using as the main source of information www.eufunds.bg, the national information web portal on European Structural and Investment Funds. Already starting tomorrow, the DIPs will take steps to transfer the notions of Lesson 1 to teachers and students of Bulgarian schools, so as to complete the steps provided for the lesson and fill in the related report within the established deadline, approximately around to February 10th.
